Students selected for the Microsoft World Championship competition in Florida

Six national champions of the Microsoft Office 2018 (MOS) specialist in Nigeria have been selected to compete in the expected world championship at Disneyworld, Orlando, United States this month.
Winners of the annual competition conducted by an educational agency, Readmanna includes three students from Aduvie International School; Iyke-Osuji Victor, Faith Academy, Ota, Ogun State; Ogon Holdings, the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure, Ondo and Udounwa Theodor of the Thomas Adewumi International College, Kwara State with two professors of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

The executive director, Readmanna, Mrs. Edna Agusto, who reported this to reporters, said that more than 133 of the 147 students selected for the final exams were challenged to their mastery of using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word version 2013 and 2016


In the Fundamentos de Informática 2018 (national category GS4), Chidiebere Jeffery of Aduvie International School won, while Ogundimu Omolara of Childville School won in Key Application (GS4).
Ms. Agusto explained that the National Championship was held over a period of seven months between 2017 and April 2018 with approximately 479 enrollments from 22 secondary schools and two universities in Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Ríos, Kwara and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
