"Then, it was discovered that the young man could not urinate normally and, as he was still a baby, nothing could be done, and as the days went by in weeks and months, it got worse as he got older.

"Then, a few months after his birth, he underwent a series of tests, and then it was discovered that our son had an enlarged bladder and needed surgery, and sent it to the University Hospital of Lagos (LUTH), Idi-Araba.

"Since his tender age, my son has been living with pain, not just ordinary pain but excruciating pain, he cries often, especially at night, and even the neighbors are afraid and always wonder what we did to him.

Daily Sun concluded that Temitope had his first operation when he was six months old. He better imagines the financial hole he created in the pocket of the family. According to Apanisile, his wife abandoned him and the baby because he could no longer bear the burden because he was financially incapacitated.

"My wife abandoned my son while he was still in admission, since we both went from house to house, my daughter was staying with my mother, her grandmother.

"The current situation is such that my son does not drink a lot of water or drink liquids in large quantities, especially if we take a long distance trip, he can not control his bladder every time he wants to urinate."



Daily Sun also realized that the ailment has denied the child things enjoyed by children his age, especially education. The first operation was successful. But due to its tender age, the body could not sustain it and complications later arose.

"Since then, it has been from one hospital to another, and finally, at some time last year, we went back to LUTH, we had several tests and the doctors said their body is strong enough to go to another round of surgery. hired for June 25.
