The popular Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as Dbanj, finally spoke about the death of his son, Daniel.

The sensational artist suffered a shocking loss last week on Sunday, a year after he welcomed his son who was baptized Daniel III.

Daniel Oyebanjo III died after drowning in a pool at the Ikoyi residence in Dbanj.

A week after the long silence, Dbanj took his Instagram page on Wednesday morning, appreciating those who extended a helping hand to his family.

He wrote: "We want to use this medium to thank all those who have given us their support during this period.

"On behalf of myself and my family, we are impressed by the demonstration of love and care from near and far."

Well-intentioned Nigerians and political leaders from across the country offered their condolences to the singer for the loss.
